Abstract
To maximize the benefits from the MISO market, FirstEnergy deployed a suite of software tools to automate both the day-ahead and real-time bidding workflows. The objective of this presentation is to: describe the day-ahead and real-time workflows, highlight the IT infrastructure, describes the application tools and summarize insights that FirstEnergy gained from using the tools to perform portfolio optimization and bid evaluation
