Abstract
The characteristics of intelligent organizations are discussed. Organizational crises are defined, and their effects are discussed. A framework for crisis management is presented, and the crisis planning systems are described; these are based on a group decision-support environment and a set of crisis planning tools. The use of the tools is illustrated by means of a crisis planning case.<>
