  • Abstract
    Gyro motor is a very sophisticated machine with high precision and high rotation speed up to 60000r/min, and its structure isn´t allowed any external interferences. Friction torque measurement of gyro motor is very complex and demands high measuring precision about 0.2gcm. Aiming at that the nut pretightening force can´t be measured and it is difficult to quantitatively evaluate the manual testing for dynamic friction torque of high-speed gyro motor, the principle of dynamic friction torque measurement of gyro motor and an automatic testing method are proposed based on analyzing the restoring torque of friction torque when gyro motor is rotating at a high speed, simultaneously. The instruments and the control system, which are used to test the screw nut pretightening force, dynamic friction torque and inertia time are designed. The experimental results demonstrate that the measurement system is accurate and reliable.
