Abstract
Georgia Institute of Technology is one of five institutions that participated in pilot evaluations under ABET Engineering Criteria 2000. This paper describes the assessment process used by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, including the definition of objectives and outcomes, implementation of assessment measures, and efforts to use the assessment results for continuous improvement. Preparations for the pilot visit and "lessons learned" also are described.
