  • Abstract
    The role of the circuit breaker in the power protection systems, especially in the interconnected power grid is growing important. In this papar, neural network serves the short-circuit current fault detection, IGCT is used to construction the hybrid circuit breaker device based on the traditional mechanical circuit breaker. It can effectively improve the switching speed and service life of mechanical circuit breaker, and has a great significance in fast switching applications of the power system.
