The aquatic biological pool of constructed subsurface flow wetland demands floating plant. But the floating plant lives mostly in warm climates, most of them are not adapt to boreal climate, for constructed subsurface flow wetland in north china need to choose floating plant. Through planting floating plant experiment in the aquatic biological pool, in considering each different floating plant´s growth and removal rate of contaminants in contrast, had a fit of floating plant due to boreal climate.
