Abstract
This paper presents a contour association method which is applied on contours obtained after the segmentation of serial cross-sections reconstructed by the URTURIP technique. It defines links between the different contours belonging to two successive parallel cross-sections, in order to give meaning to the the explored volume. It allows defining the 3D scene as distinct entities composed of different connected contours
