Abstract
Plane-wave shielding properties (SE) of anisotropic laminated composites are measured at 225-400 MHz using a gigahertz transverse electromagnetic field cell (GTEM). The GTEM cell may generate a unidirectional polarization field to measure the SE of a material with highly anisotropic properties. The measured data of graphite/epoxy (Gr/Ep) and boron/epoxy (Br/Ep) are discussed and compared with calculated data by the wave-transmission-matrix (WTM) method. The conductivities of Gr/Ep and Br/Ep are then obtained from the measurement of their prepregs
