Constructed wetland is a new technology of wastewater treatment. Based on the long-term monitoring water quality data in northern constructed wetland, analyze the overall purification capacity of constructed wetland system. The results showed that removal rate of contaminants reached more than 40% averagely. Subsequently analyze subsurface flow constructed wetland dynamic characteristics of water quality. The results showed that t the first plants gravel bed has the largest capability of water quality purification and reaches over 50% of the total wastewater removal rate. Based on the results, propose a scheme for the construction of constructed wetlands, suggestions for further research.
