    Soil dissolved organic carbon (DOC) content in Sangjing Plain under different land use patterns was investigated to study its distribution characteristic and influence factor. Results indicated that average DOC content in soil was in order of Doyeuxia augustifolia wetland≈island forest>;poplar forest>;rice field>;corn field. DOC content decreased from surface to bottom in all land use patterns but rice field. DOC contents were generally high and concentrated in surface soil (0-15cm depth) in Doyeuxia augustifolia wetland, island forest, poplar forest and corn field while DOC content was high in deep layer(15-80cm) in rice field. DOC content was significantly positive related to soil organic matter content (r=0.588, p<;0.001), which suggested that DOC in soil would leach and decrease when wetland was reclaimed for farming. DOC content in soil was negatively related to pH (r=-0.228, p=0.038).
