  • Abstract
In this paper, we propose a downlink multi-antenna multi-carrier direct-sequence code division multiple access (MC-DS-CDMA) transmission scheme, incorporating space-time-frequency block (STFB) codes. The proposed scheme achieves time, frequency and spatial diversity using non-redundant algebraic constellation precoders. We simulate the proposed system´s bit-error-rate (BER) performance in a statistically accurate multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel model, capable of simulating spatially-selective, frequency-selective and time-selective channel conditions. We evaluate the system´s performance when antenna correlation is introduced. Simulation results reveal that broadband MC-DS-CDMA using STFB codes, constitutes a promising downlink transmission scheme.
