Abstract
According to the technics requirements and automation control needs of silicon powder production line using pressing-turning method, it develops an automatic control system. This system is based on the principle of pressing-turning method producing silicon powder. It uses Siemens PLC and touch panel to control production line machines. The main machines are controlled by transducers. It can realize the functions such as reverse order start order stop, real-time fault monitoring, fault self-diagnosis and fault auto-processing. This control system can automatic track the current changing of pressing-turning motor, auto-controlling the raw material supplying speed by Intelligent PID algorithm, realizing the particle size control of silicon powder production line. It is easy to operate the system with a friendly interface. The quality of silicon powder is stable with high rate of main powder and low cost.
