Abstract
This paper presents a novel frequency resource for frequency resource of ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry), which is based on DDS (Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizes) technology. It consists of micro controller, which is the controller of system, DDS chip AD9835, which communicates with the micro controller through the SPI Bus, crystal, which provides benchmark frequency, and power module, which provides power for the system. It can produce a standard sine wave with the frequency range from DC (Direct Current) to 25MHz, and the change of frequency can be controlled by the computer via the USB Bus. Finally after experiments, it indicates that this frequency resource can totally meet the requirement of ICP-MS.
