  • Abstract
    The characteristics of jobbing work are analyzed, and a systematic structure for design automation in jobbing work circumstance is present. Based on product module library and frame-structured design knowledge library, new product´s scheme pattern configuration and parameters´ calculation proceed to fulfill automated design process. Then, making use of the results of primary design, the optimized design satisfying customer requests is presented by validating and optimizing the product scheme pattern. At last, a demonstration of an industrial metal forming machine is illustrated.
