  • Abstract
Methods of constructing ANSERLIN (annular sector radiating line) antennas using microstrip feedlines are demonstrated. The antennas are well matched at all frequencies where the structural discontinuities are very small in wavelengths. Well-formed circularly polarized beams are obtained over bandwidths exceeding 25%. As much as 60% of the input power can be radiated from a single element. A six-element array has demonstrated the application of microstrip feedlines for series interconnections.<>
