Abstract
The paper deals with the opportunities to improve the surface behavior of traditional epoxy castings. The hydrophobicity and their ability to withstand the complex climatic and electric stress act as an indicator of the advanced Surface properties. This was evaluated in a Modified Rotating Wheel Dip Test (MRWDT). To test the recovery of the hydrophobicity, the materials were aged over 24 h in a salt fog chamber (SFC) and during the rest of 24 h the recovery was measured
