  • Abstract
    Definition, classification and structure characteristic of environmental mineral materials(EMMs) are described. Application development of several kinds of EMMs treating heavy metal wastewater(HMW) is generalized based on the advantages of them. The good prospect of EMMs treating HMW is presented based on own research. As people are deeply familiar with the mechanism of absorption for the minerals, the effective utilization of these modified mineral materials will have the important realistic meanings in both prevention & control pollution and remediation of environment.
