  • Abstract
    IPTV terminal equipment business model will become richer with “Three Networks Convergence”. By using the IPTV terminal consumers will enjoy the functions of IP video telephone intercommunion or video surveillance which will become a new kind of business requirements. In view of this, this paper presents a method of design and realization based on the video streaming real-time transmission system of IPTV terminal which contains server and client. Based on embedded linux take the Samsung´s ARM9 chip S3C2440 as the main controller server, and adopt V4L2 interface technology to collect real-time video. In order to ensure the quality of transmission, network transport module use JRTPLIB to send and receive. This system has very strong practical and broad application prospects.
