  • Abstract
    Cable-crane is a special crane which has been widely applied in various industries. To avoid the twining and winding of different working cables, cable-supporting device should be installed in a cable-crane system. It is demanded that cable-supporting device can be opened when lifting-crab passing through without motion interference. In this paper, firstly, three-dimensional solid models of the lifting-crab and cable-supporting device are built on the Solidworks platform. Then, the models are introduced and integrated into ADAMS software to perform the motion simulation of lifting-crab. The results obtained can be applied to the further design of cable-crane.
