Abstract
This paper mainly deals with the relationship between window function and impedance tapered line function. The latter is the extension of the former from the discreet domain to the continuous domain. Take the transformation of window functions as the tapered line functions, a detailed derivation of the character impedance and reflection coefficient is obtained based on this tapered line. A comparison of the cut-off frequency is made among these different tapered line functions, of which Klopfenstein type is the best, following up Raised Cosine and Triangular type, and Rectangular type (Exponent type) the worst.
