Abstract
The architecture and dynamics of a code-vision multiaccess (CDMA) cellular radio network are discussed. The network´s layout, power control equation, cell coverage, signal quality, cell radio design, and heterogeneous cell clustering are described. It is shown that the CDMA system is adaptive to the channel and to the traffic load and offers flexibility in the network design and operation
