  • Abstract
Semantic ontology is driving the evolution of knowledge engineering on the basis of shared knowledge. The acquisition of hyponymy is a basic and vital problem in ontology building, which provides the basic supports for further enrichment. In this paper, we propose an iterative verification method of enriching ontology concepts by the representation and acquisition of hyponymy patterns in Tibetan language. The hyponymy patterns are defined in Tibetan language, which is represented as a pair of a meaning frame defining the necessary information extraction. Then we put forward a method to acquire the concepts by the hyponymy from the pattern-match sentences.
