  • Abstract
    In this study, we developed a new cell-based biochip dedicated to the real-time and on-line monitoring of transient effluxes of glucose and oxygen. This microfluidic device "on a chip" will therefore be dedicated and realize a complete, precise and real-time monitoring of the composition and modulation of cell medium. The microdevice is composed of arrays of amperometric microsensors integrated in the inlet and the outlet of a PDMS cell chamber. First results dedicated to glucose and oxygen calibration in the dynamic conditions of liquid flow showed good performances of the integrated microsensors in terms of linearity of response and sensitivity of detection in a physiological buffer medium.
