Abstract
The superconducting properties of S/F/S (Superconductor/Ferromagnet/Superconductor) heterostructures have been studied using wideband microwave measurements. Nb/PdNi/Nb trilayers with different F layer thickness have been studied. Measurements show evidence for a progressively weaker vortex pinning with increasing F thickness. However, as it was shown by structural study, this is not a result of disorder in the samples. We argue that the F layer acts on the superconducting state itself, lowering the superfluid density.
