Abstract
A discussion is presented of a highly efficient algorithm for the monopulse technique, which reduces the number of arithmetic operations by taking into account the fact that the sum and difference patterns may have many or all common nulls. Like the RF case, the speed of calculating the required current distribution for the difference channel can be significantly improved by making use of the common result that has been obtained from the calculation of the current distribution in the sum channel. A method for computing current distribution is outlined. Also presented are three procedures from a computer program written in Pascal to calculate the current amplitude distributions in the sum and difference channels given in the author´s equations.<>
