Abstract
This work presents an analysis of the equilibrium points of the induction motor when field oriented voltage control is used. Thus, a study of the steady state of the motor and controller dynamics is carried out for two cases. In the first one, all of the parameters are constant and known. In the second case, the rotor resistance is considered constant and unknown. In both cases, the resulting equations are nonlinear, however, the equation for the second one are far more complicated since the field orientation is not achieved due to the parameter mismatch. Under the assumption of the knowledge of the state vector, this paper demonstrates that the equilibrium point us unique for the dynamical systems corresponding to each one of these cases.
