Abstract
It is found that performance loss due to the normalization is small, less than 0.2 dB for an example. The loss due to quantization depends on the number of bits used. For one-bit (two-level) quantization, the loss is approximately 1 dB. This can be reduced to less than 0.1 dB by the use of three bits (8 levels) in the quantizer
