  • Abstract
    Sophisticated methods of automatic adaptivity in finite element methods of higher order of accuracy are presented. The main attention is devoted to hp-adaptivity techniques that exhibit the highest level of flexibility and exponential convergence of results. The technologies implemented in our own FEM code are illustrated by two typical examples.
