Abstract
In this paper, a methodology based on Floquet decomposition is presented as an alternative solution to obtain the steady state values of power converters. The entire procedure is based on the previous computation of the transition matrix or an approximate of it. Floquet theory is used to provide direct expressions for the steady state solution of systems forced by periodic functions. The application of this analytical expression to power converter circuits is presented through two simple but practical power electronic components.
