  • Abstract
    We use finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method to calculate surface plasmon modes distribution as well as band structures for the typical two dimensional plasmonic crystals. The unique properties of compact flat bands, highly degenerated surface plasmons are proved to enhance the electric field intensity significantly. The corresponding modes distribution are simulated and discussed
