  • Abstract
Urban energy-saving and consumption-reducing is the only way to achieve sustainable development. Through the analysis of status quo of Anhui Province Cities´ energy-saving and consumption-reducing, an indicator system is built to measure the level of it. The ¿Pressure-State-Response¿ model and principal component analysis are selected for evaluation of the system. According to the empirical conclusions, optimization of the energy structure, realization of energy structural diversification, the promotion of introduction of new technologies and improvement of energy technologies efficiency, restructuring of industrial structure ought to be speed up, which can build a energy-efficient production systems, while key industries´ management need to be focused on in order to achieve the goals of energy-saving and consumption-reducing for these cities.
