Abstract
This paper will explore some of the issues and challenges faced in creating connected web pages for use in a group of microelectronic engineering courses including process engineering and device physics course work. In a multi-disciplinary field such as microelectronics the web is an ideal medium for information storage, retrieval and display. Everything from animated web applets used to review basic device physics, to video clips of process equipment and instruction manuals can be placed on the web. The semiconductor industry will benefit from working with universities to develop and use such educational sites
