  • Abstract
    Investigations on the RPSPR mechanism have been carried out by using mathematical means, such as local Coordinate system, coordinate conversion, direction cosine matrix etc. A constant-velocity (CV) spatial RPSPR mechanism was presented under certain geometry. The preliminary design of this mechanism was conducted in Pro/E software environment. Furthermore, the kinematic simulation was performed in ADAMS software environment based on the obtained assembly model. The transmission characteristics thereof are discussed in light of the gained results providing a theoretical basis for the new-style joint development.
