  • Abstract
With the increasing need for more bandwidth and higher data through put rates in the tactical environment the problem of aggregating and sending information from point-to-point becomes increasing difficult but vitally important. New tactical scenarios require that traffic from multiple lower data rate sources be bundled and multiplexed into composite higher data rate formats that can be carried over a common high capacity transmission medium. In addition there are numerous applications for single thread, high capacity communication equipment to meet point-to-point interconnection requirements. To meet this increasingly "bandwidth hungry" tactical environment L-3 TW developed the all new full duplex, digital TCM-930 series of portable, tactical, tunable microwave radios that can support transmission of single and multiple high speed data streams up to 210 Mbps
