  • Abstract
The hybrid control theory is introduced to the active power/frequency control of the power system in this paper, and the hybrid automatic generation control (HAGC) is proposed with the architecture, control strategy and application method. Furthermore, in view of the weakness of the current real power control theory and technology, two modes, i.e., the real-time and look-ahead control mode are adopted in HAGC. With the establishment of the event-driven mechanism, HAGC integrates control system combining the real-time control mode and the look-ahead control mode, and it can improve real power security, economical and quality efficiently.
