  • Abstract
With artificial systems, computational experiments and parallel execution, the ideas of computational experiments in social sciences are put forward for the challenges of methodological study in the complex socio-economic systems, then the basic concepts, model structures, and wide ranges of applications of computational experiments are presented. To water conservancy investment system, for example, based on computational experiments, three major issues about the agent models, experiments and decision-making are discussed, and the social experiment platforms are designed to run in parallel with the real investment system to provide the experimental environment with the evaluation, verification and amendment for the complex results.
