Abstract
Due to modern communication technologies, remote patient monitoring and remote diagnosis is possible in more and more diseases. This paper presents a system to transmit EEG signals over Internet using a Web server. The patient side module is able to detect abnormal frequencies based on spectral analysis and to signal an alert state. In order to test and calibrate the system, EEG signals have been simulated using MATCAD, SIMULINK and SPICE.
