Abstract
Recently developed 1-μm CMOS circuits for a 900 MHz spread-spectrum wireless transceiver show that by combining a MOS style of circuits design with flexibility in system architecture, it is possible to integrate the entire transceiver on a single-chip, and to obtain a level of performance previously only possible by combining advanced silicon bipolar technologies with specialized passive components
