Abstract
A comparison is made between disturbance accommodation control (DAC) and model reference control (MRC) with regard to their effectiveness in reducing the effects of certain known waveform-type disturbances acting on linear systems. Simulation results are presented. From these results, it appears that MRC´s performance is better than that of DAC. DAC seems to be easier than MRC to apply; this conclusion is based on the difficulty of manipulating the external disturbances into the DARMA (deterministic autoregressive moving average) system model
