Abstract
A small-signal equivalent circuit model of a current-programmed power stage is applied to the analysis and design of a 160-W buck regulator and a 300-W boost regulator. This model represents both input and output properties, which can be fixed in the model of a competent regulator system to analyze and design the overall dynamic properties and stability. For this purpose a generalized model is established, to which the analysis and design are applied. Modification of the model to obtain more power and the effect on stability from different duty ratios are discussed
