Abstract
This paper describes a basic radial power distribution system for an industrial facility, and is compared against alternative configurations, showing increased reliability and complexity of the design. Finally, numerical examples compare the basic power system against an alternative to illustrate the increased reliability using expected industry rates for failures and necessary repairs
