  • Abstract
    A novel single-layer folded filter using the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technique is presented in this paper. A prototype at X-band for the proposed filter has been fabricated using standard printed-circuit-board (PCB) process, and is measured with a vector network analyzer (VNA). The measured results show the proposed filter has a narrow band-pass bandwidth, small insert loss and good frequency selective performances. The proposed filter has a compact size and it is suitable for designing microwave and millimeter-wave circuits.
