Abstract
Agent-based modeling is a simulation technique that provides a powerful tool for analyzing complex system. It is a bottom-up approach to understanding systems which has seen a number of applications in the last few years, including applications to real-world problems. After the basic concepts and methods behind agent-based modeling are briefly introduced, some recent applications of human behaviors are described and analyzed.
