  • Abstract
The application of a rule-based approach to initial port spectra representation in EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) analysis is discussed. Knowledge representation using PROLOG is illustrated for the non-required part of the spectra. It is concluded that this opens up a new era for conversion of large mainframe software packages on to mini/PC-AT class systems
