Abstract
This paper investigates the stabilization and H∞ control of a class of nonlinear Hamiltonian descriptor systems with actuator saturation. Based on the structural characteristic of the nonlinear Hamiltonian descriptor system, an equivalent nonlinear Hamiltonian differential-algebraic system is obtained. Using a suitable state feedback and compensation to express the actuator saturation, a stabilization control law is developed under the state feedback, and based on which an H∞ controller is designed for the nonlinear Hamiltonian descriptor systems with actuator saturation and external disturbances.
