Abstract
We investigated the anticipation mechanism of timing control in sensori-motor synchronization. This was studied by using synchronized finger tapping between tap onset and periodic tone onset. As a result, we clarified that there were two modes of anticipatory timing control, one is anticipation with attention and the other is anticipation without attention. These facts indicate that anticipation of timing is realized by a dual mechanism.
