  • Abstract
    This paper analyzes the electric function of snow covered radome, by simulating and computing some symmetrical A sandwich structure radome board with Geometry Optics (GO) rays tracing method and four-port network theories in the form of transmission matrix. The results show that the snow layer will slightly effect a change on power transmission coefficient of radome board at P/L band. However, it increases power reflection greatly in company with radome board. As a result, it could damage the receiver sometimes.
