Abstract
In this paper, a new principle for passive radio requestable sensors is introduced. The currently available passive sensors mostly use time division access to the radio channel for the remote readout in a different manner, the proposed sensors utilize frequency division access, achieved by nonlinearity of the passive sensor, consisting of a semiconductor device such as a diode and a passive impedance. The information is modulated due to the cross correlation effect. To evaluate the information, coherent demodulation is carried out
