  • Abstract
    A new model is presented for predicting the field strength inside buildings for microcell and small macrocell base stations. The field strength is calculated by an outdoor→indoor model, which uses the field estimates in the points just outside the boundary line of the building at same height, calculated by a three dimensional, ray-based outdoor model. The predictions by the new model are compared with measurements
