Abstract
Competitive system performance does not simply happen-it requires focused design by all system component contributors. However, before system performance can be designed into new products, performance characteristics of existing products need to be analyzed and understood. This paper reports about system performance analysis activities performed by the System Design and Performance Analysis team in Commercial Systems Engineering at the Motorola Computer Group
